Online Mathematics Tutors across the globe

I am a CS PhD student at NUS, specializing in theoretical and algorithmic aspects of machine learning. I have an MSc in Maths and a BSc in CS and Maths. I have been a TA and private tutor for university level maths/CS since 2017. The subjects that I usually teach are proof-based maths (e.g., linear algebra, analysis, abstract algebra) or math-heavy ML/DS (optimization, advanced ML). I used to be active in mathematics and algorithms competitions many years ago, and would be happy to coach motivated primary and high school students. I am based in the Sengkang area, but I am happy to commute.

I teach Mathematics and Physical Sciences, and I am based in Moreletapark, Pretoria East. I have experience in individual, as well as group tutoring. I take an approach that considers each learner's specific needs, making accommodations for this and being patient and understanding. I link content to real-world applications in order to "demystify" it, and perhaps share my passion for the topic. Hello! My name is Matt, and I'm originally from Pennsylvania in the United States. I've been teaching high school in various countries for the past 10 years, primarily at American International Schools. I've taught in both the American curriculum and the IB program, including at the AP and DP levels. That being said I am Athulya Thilakan, a masters student in advanced and computational mathematics at T U Chemnitz.
