I'm a passionate, qualified teacher, with over five years of experience teaching and tutoring Maths. I studied Maths at the University of Manchester, where I obtained a 2:1, before completing my teacher training at Manchester Metropolitan University. I've taught in secondary schools in the UK as well as spending two years living in Nepal, where I taught A Level Maths and Economics. My classes are tailored to the needs of my students but I always like to keep them engaging, varied and fun! Often my classes focus on exam preparation and practice, but I can also prepare a complete session with examples, practice exercises and problem solving questions, coverings topics identified with the student. Some students prefer to use the class to ask questions about things they have learned in class or to better understand their homework. It's up to you! I work mostly with students studying for GCSE and A Level exams, but have also tutored younger students and those studying for other qualifications, such as the IB.

I am an experienced tutor and teacher, who has helped numerous students achieve better grades than they thought were possible. I have a degree in mathematics and completed professional exams while working in the financial sector. I understand the difficulties that come with learning maths and believe that a little extra help can go a long way in building confidence and reaching your goals. While in Europe, I gained significant real-world experience in civil-engineering, however I found my heartfelt excitement in tutoring.

I have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with Mathematics as one of the major subjects from the Tshwane University of Technology. My expertise lies in teaching Mathematics, particularly Algebra and Geometry, to high school students ranging from grade 10 to grade 12. Hiiiii I am about to graduate from the University of Manchester and thought to share some of the things I have learnt in my endlessly long life of education sigh But we can have some fun studies together!!! I can teach Math and Chemistry - preferable grade 11 and under. Older students scare me a little bit! You can come to my student house which is 2 mins from the Mcdonalds on Oxford Road or I could come to you if you are not that far. We could also study in cafes and libraries, something different every day if you're old enough to have the permission from your parents *winks*

I have been a university lecturer for 30 years and still work part-time as a lecturer, primarily for leading universities. I am an economist by background and have taught that subject many times.
