I began by teaching first grade, then I earned my middle school certification in middle school Math and Science and taught middle school for the past seven years. My name is Lionel Cruz. I am a 34 year old male from Lawrence, Massachusetts who is excellent in Math. I've always been an A student when it comes to Math. I was in the first grade when I had great success in Math. 27 years later, not only do I still love Math, but i enjoy helping young kids more in helping their grades improve in Math. My philosophy is to make Math fun to learn.

I am a trained chemical engineer and full-time software developer who offers part-time tutoring for Maths and Science subjects. I studied Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology through to A-Level before training as a chemical engineer and finally settling on a career as a software developer. I am DBS cleared and have extensive real-world experience in solving mathematical and scientific problems, and experience of working with children of all ages.

I recently moved to Cape Town since I finished my Engineering degree in 2018. I would love to tutor maths and physics part time to help me feel at home in a new city.
