I am Sidharth Kaushik, currently studying MBBS at The University of Hong Kong. With a passion for passing on knowledge and experience to the younger generation, I started tutoring in 2024 and have been teaching senior secondary students. I am Indian and came to Hong Kong 9 years ago, therefore I am fluent in English, Hindi, and conversational Cantonese. When teaching a specific topic, I explain it visually with pen and paper, then demonstrate how to solve a question based on that topic. Finally, I ask students to solve similar questions the way I did. I began my tutoring journey in October 2024, when I volunteered as a Math tutor for Action Tutoring. This involved teaching Year 10 to 11 students both in-person and online every week. I was later hired by Fine Tutors in February 2025, where I taught Maths to students in Year 1 to 8 in a classroom setting. I hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, which involves using Mathematics in designing electronic devices. I also have an Advanced Level Foundation Diploma with a Distinction in Mathematics. This has helped me familiarize myself with the typical UK exam curriculum.

My experience has been that one-to-one personal tuition has a unique value to students because of the ability to resolve the student's personal barriers to learning in a way that lays the foundations for a deep and long-lasting understanding of the subject.
