I was a science student at a secondary school in Tin Shui Wai. I got a B grade in Mathematics in the HKCEE exam.

With over 13 years of extensive teaching experience in mathematics, ranging from primary to university level, I have developed a deep commitment to fostering analytical thinking, academic rigor, and intellectual curiosity in my students. I have designed and delivered a broad array of core and specialized mathematics courses, including General Relativity, Partial Differential Equations, Integral Equations, Linear Algebra, Classical Field Theory, Calculus, Differential Geometry, Algebraic Logic, and Mathematical Modeling.

I am Farhan Yusuf Khan, an international undergraduate student studying Computer Science at the University of Hong Kong. I completed my high school education in the British Curriculum and took both Cambridge O Level and A Level Examinations, achieving A*/As. As a result of studying in the British Curriculum my entire life, I am fluent in English and well-versed in international curriculum. I am interested in teaching Mathematics, Sciences, or English. Additionally, I have gained valuable experience tutoring multiple students over the past 3 years. Currently, I am also employed as a Student Teaching Assistant at the University of Hong Kong, where I assist in teaching programming to students enrolled in the Computer Programming I course. In Hong Kong, I have taught programming to grade 5 and grade 3 students at KCIS Hong Kong, as well as IB maths to a grade 4 student at Victoria Shanghai Academy. Prior to that, I taught A Level Pure Mathematics, Mechanics, O Level Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in Bangladesh. I am qualified to teach Algebra, Geometry, Arithmetic, Trigonometry, High School Calculus, Probability and Statistics, Science, High School Physics and Chemistry, English Language, and Programming in Python or C++. I am a tutor specializing in mathematics and physical sciences based in Kempton Park. I prefer to tutor learners from the comfort of their homes.

I was educated at the specialist Physics-Mathematics School. During my school time I enjoyed constructing various electronics devices (from vacuum tube based amplifiers to transistor based radio receivers). My University study was at the Physics Faculty where I was awarded MSc Radiophysics and Electronics. My Final Year Project was implemented at the Physics research institute in the research automation lab and it was related to the Systems Programming. This led me to doing PhD in Systems Programming. I am doing teaching of various aspects of Computer Science at the University level from 1984. In 2015 I have started private tutoring of Maths (up to GCSE), Physics (upto GCSE) and Computer Science (up to PhD). I live in Hertfordshire but very frequently visit London. I can drive to the required location.

I decided to have a career change at the age of 25 and pursued teaching as my career. I found happiness and satisfaction in witnessing my students' academic growth. My goal is to be able to teach at a university level. I am capable of enhancing a student's critical thinking skills and facilitating their comprehension of the subject matter instead of mere memorization. My biggest strength lies in capturing the attention of the classroom.

I am a native English-speaking student at West Island School, currently taking Mathematics AAHL, Physics HL, and Computer Science HL. I have also completed a university mathematics course at HKU and a 6-month computing course at HKUST. I prefer to teach GCSE courses (GCSE Math, Further Pure, Computer Science, Triple Science), but I am willing to teach any other mathematics course below grade 10 (year 11). I have a very outgoing personality, enjoy talking, and love spending time with children. My location is in Aberdeen.
