I am a high school math teacher with over 14 years of experience in all math up to Algebra I and Geometry. My experience also includes working with students with learning disabilites. I personally used to struggle with math as a young child, but now, I love it!! As a past struggling math student, I know what it feels like to "just not get it". There is more than one way to get the same answer in math and I can show you a way that will make sense to you. Since completing my PGCE at the University of Manchester in 2012, I worked in a Primary school for over 3 years which equipped me with a wealth of experience as a Good to Outstanding Class Teacher and also as a Subject Leader for Science and PE. I have also spent time as a Supply Teacher which enabled me to spend time with my family when needed but also gave me invaluable experience across all Primary year groups in a diverse range of schools. My teaching style is to create a positive and dynamic learning environment that enables children to thrive and succeed at what they do. I am experienced in SATs and 11+ examination preparation. My passions are Maths and SPAG. The children I teach make excellent progress and this is reflected in my consistently good results in the classroom.

I have studied Chemical and Nuclear Engineering at Imperial College London. My A level grades are A* A* A A (Maths, Physics, Further Maths, Chemistry). I am passionate about sharing my knowledge with others. My teaching involves engaging the students with the subject and have fun. You can learn faster and more efficiently if you enjoy the process. Grew up in San Antonio, TX, hated school and only did the bare mininum to make ok grades. Graduated and went to the University of Houston for Accounting and almost failed out my first year because I didn't havethe mindsent of a learner. Thankfully I got it together with the help of others and really digging in and figuring it out. Now I work as a teacher to help students who were like me, who don't know how to study yet or don't have the mindset of success and help them maximize their natural greatness!

I am an undergraduate student in CUNY Queens College, majoring in Psychology and pursuing a Medical Doctorate Degree. My specialty specifically lies in the fields of Abnormal Psychology, Psychopharmacology, and Clinical Psychology. I will complete my degree by Fall 2019. I primarily tutor primary and secondary level Psychology, Algebra, Biology, General and Organic Chemistry, and occasionally History. I cater my approach at a conceptual level. This way, students don't just memorize details, but actually understand the concepts. In my experience, the more the students can understand a concept, the better they can perform and eventually grow love for the subject.

I am an educator. I am a person who works with children with learning disabilites. I have the ability to do a problem multiple ways. I have a way to make the students understand. I like to make the problem come alive for them. When they can see it then they have a tendency to understand.

I am a high school graduate entering the University of Waterloo this fall for their Honours Biomedical Engineering Program. I have received multiple distinctions on a national level for math competitions including 2nd in Canada for the Canadian Math Kangaroo Contest. Furthermore, I have completed gr.12 AP physics with one of the highest marks in my class. With regards to experience, I have been an assistant teacher (gr.1-10) at Spirit of Math Schools for four years and have volunteered as a Math Senior Scholar at my school.

I have been a primary school teacher for nine years - and I love my job! During my time as a teacher, I have really enjoyed getting to know all of the children in my classes. I have been the coordinator of both Maths and Science and these are probably my favourite subjects. I have tutored many children for their SATs, with great success. I work hard to build children’s confidence, especially in the subjects that they find difficult.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida. I was in the Ph.D. program for Biomedical Engineering at Virginia Commonwealth University for a year when I decided to take a break. During my time in the Ph.D. program, I served as a Teaching Assistant for a Biomaterials class. Now, I have decided to utilize my expertise in math and science to assist others in learning and comprehending these fascinating subjects.
