I am a mathemathics and life sciences part-time tutor situated in Midrand. Grades I tutor are from grade 6-12. I am available on weekends and only on weekdays on special request (18:30-20:30pm). I have a BSc in Biotechnology acquired from the Univeristy of the Western Cape and currently pursuing my second qualifiction, part time, in Industrial Engineering. I am an a full time internal account manager. In 2017, I completed an internship within the energy field as a Resource Efficiency and Cleaner Production Intern held by the National Cleaner Production Centre.where I managed to identify resource savings worth approximately R1 million through innovate strategies. My interests have always been vested in youth development through education, entrepreneurship and knowledge. I am a patient and well-articulated person. During my spare time I enjoy researching about the current affairs within energy economics, biological sciences, beauty and fashion

I’ve tutored countless students (well over the 50 mark) from all ranges: Year 7 to Bachelor- level inclusively - though the majority being A level, this is probably my favourite. I also have experience in preparing candidates for Oxbridge interviews and STEP and MAT exams. Most recently in Cambridge while at university, I used the FirstTutors website. Since completing my PGCE at the University of Manchester in 2012, I worked in a Primary school for over 3 years which equipped me with a wealth of experience as a Good to Outstanding Class Teacher and also as a Subject Leader for Science and PE. I have also spent time as a Supply Teacher which enabled me to spend time with my family when needed but also gave me invaluable experience across all Primary year groups in a diverse range of schools. My teaching style is to create a positive and dynamic learning environment that enables children to thrive and succeed at what they do. I am experienced in SATs and 11+ examination preparation. Grew up in San Antonio, TX, hated school and only did the bare mininum to make ok grades. Graduated and went to the University of Houston for Accounting and almost failed out my first year because I didn't havethe mindsent of a learner. Thankfully I got it together with the help of others and really digging in and figuring it out. Now I work as a teacher to help students who were like me, who don't know how to study yet or don't have the mindset of success and help them maximize their natural greatness!

My name is Christina and I currently resides in Rondebosch, Cape Town. I have found my passion in assisting and motivating struggling learners or students. I got good grades in school, so be my student (I just need money). But in all seriousness, I got 11A in GCSE and A*AB (that B is 79) in A-Level for Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.
