My name is Christina and I currently resides in Rondebosch, Cape Town. I have found my passion in assisting and motivating struggling learners or students. I really enjoy engaging with students to empower and enrich their experiences with various subjects. I have tutored Grade 8-12 students in 2016, specifically, for mathematics and chemistry subjects. I really love translating difficult information into simpler analogies. Besides Mathematics and Chemistry subjects, I am most passionate about the Geography and Life Sciences subjects. These were all subjects that I deeply enjoyed in high school and also had an opportunity to study at a tertiary level. As a tutor, my goal is to untangle any academic problem we encounter together and build a connection with the student at the same time. I want to offer my experiences and advice whenever possible. My ability to build strong, personal relationships with the students. I understand that personal relationships are foundational to student success. The more connected a student feels to his or her tutor, the more the tutor creates trust and respect, essential ingredients for students to learn well.

I am currently studying master in mechanical engineering at the University of Bath and doing a placement in London. I am available to teach mathematics according to your flexibility. I got good grades in school, so be my student (I just need money). But in all seriousness, I got 11A in GCSE and A*AB (that B is 79) in A-Level for Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.
