My name is Luyanda Mthabela. I currently live in Durban. I am a qualified teacher/tutor who is passionate about working with children. I obtained my Bachelor of Education at the University of Zululand. My majors are isiZulu, English, Mathematics, Natural Science, and Technology, but I am able to teach subjects beyond my majors. I have been providing one-on-one tutoring services for the past 3 years. During these years, I have used various teaching methods and strategies that cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of my students, such as using charts, pictures, flashcards, puzzles, videos, games, reading and rewriting, speaking clearly with a moderate pace, and repeating important information multiple times to ensure my students achieve exceptional results. I am primarily interested in teaching Physics, Maths, and Further Maths. I have previous experience in teaching students on a one-to-one basis and have taught over 50 students. I am currently studying at HKBU with a full scholarship. I have an iPad and can conduct online classes on Google Meet, which is an added benefit for students as I can provide class recordings.
