I am a chemistry major at Ryerson going into my fourth year. I have 4 years of experience teaching chemistry and math to students of all ages up to grade 12. I am located near Victoria Park and Lawrence, but I am also downtown a good portion of the time so I am able to commute to most locations near a subway station. I also try to establish a connection with my students to try and make the tutor to student relationship come off as more of a peer to peer relationship. I have had a PhD in Mathematics since 2017, and I possess extensive experience in teaching all levels of Mathematics. I have taught at both High Schools and Universities for more than 5 years, including Master and PhD courses. Additionally, I have been a dedicated private math tutor for over 10 years. Moreover, I actively participate in Math Olympiads. My classes are conducted around the Rotterdam area, and I also offer online lessons. I am proficient in teaching in both English and Spanish, as Spanish is my native language. I am a 3rd-year communication engineering student with a passion for mathematics and teaching. So, why not do both? I teach all kinds of math – anything you can think of. Try me! (Okay, not really. I am a Mathematics MSc student at Stellenbosch University. I have a major in Biochemistry at an undergraduate level. I strive to teach for understanding and to constantly build on foundations, as this is the way to ensure academic growth. I also focus on learning strategies because in this fast-paced world we live in, it is necessary to grasp and learn concepts quickly and to have strategies to do so.

My passion in life is knowledge and the sharing of it. The main subject that I tutor is Mathematics as I have found it to be one of the most difficult subjects to grasp, despite being a subject of logic and true beauty once one is able to understand it. I am based in Johannesburg, Gauteng and have spent five years helping multiple students to not only pass maths, but to do better than they ever thought they could. I approach each new student with extreme flexibilty as each one learns at a different rate, using different methods. I also believe a student knows the best means by which they will be able to learn and I take these personal considerations very seriously. My preferred teaching style is to follow the pace of the curriculum, unless the student wishes to learn concepts in advance for the benefit of having the knowledge ready before it is leant in class. I also occasionally give additional homework and spot tests (if needed) and will create my own mock-exams for additional maths practise. I set myself apart from other tutors with my commitment to my students. This is more than a job for me; I hold your potential in my hands and thus I do all that I can to ensure that you succeed. Mathematics is a truly beauiful subject and it has great meaning to me. My lessons and approach to this subject will always show my love for maths and I wish for my students to gain the same appreciation. Hi! My name's Nick and I am a Brooklyn-based math educator. I have a BA in Mathematics and Philosophy from Baruch College (CUNY). For two years now, I have taught high school math both in a formal classroom setting and in one-on-one sessions. I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to help over 100 students from a variety of backgrounds and knowledge levels attain their goals. Particularly, I have a great deal of experience helping students prepare for the SAT's and the NYS Regents Exams (all subjects). I guide students through the process of deciding on a exam score to aim for, and then we work to attain that score.
