Online Probability & Statistics Tutors across the globe

Hi, I'm a maths tutor that holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Yale University, concentrating in Statistics. Currently, residing in Hong Kong. Based on my 10 years of teaching, I have taught many Maths courses both in-person and online, and have designed my own lesson materials to facilitate learning. Many of my students have provided me with top ratings in course feedback for my teaching performance. I've taught students at Primary & Secondary levels in a wide variety of syllabuses (A-Levels, SAT, AP, IGCSE, ACT, etc.) Besides that, I've had more than 6 years of professional experience in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, both in Research and Development. I have used TensorFlow and PyTorch to build AI systems for finance applications, chatbots in Mandarin and Cantonese, and automated quality control of medical teleconsultations. My research includes the usage of differential geometry and analytic hyperbolic geometry in deep learning. I believe strongly that any civilization that wishes to avoid collapse must concern itself with the education of its younger generations.

With over seven years of tutoring experience, I have worked with students at both primary and secondary levels, with a special emphasis on supporting IB students, specifically for Maths SL, Lang & Lit SL, and Biology SL. Drawing from my own challenges during my IB Diploma journey, I understand the importance of the support I lacked and strive to provide meticulous lesson planning to address similar needs of my students. I primarily conduct my lessons online, however, I am open to having face-to-face lessons as well.

I am a full-time tutor specializing in math and science subjects. I started tutoring students since high school over 30 years ago. I attended the Chinese University of Hong Kong and continued my studies in the United States. I graduated in the United States and earned two master's degrees in mathematics and engineering. I worked as a software developer for many years. After returning to Hong Kong, I became a full-time tutor. Over the past twenty years, I have helped many students from local and international primary and secondary schools overcome academic difficulties. I am familiar with Hong Kong (DSE) and international curricula such as IB, SAT, AP Calculus, ACT, GCE A Level, IGCSE, and GCSE.
