Hello, I'm Chan Thar Soe. I have recently graduated with an M.Sc in Materials Science and I am currently working as a Lab Engineer in Bangkok. I am very passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge in Science.

I tutor mainly maths, physics and chemistry. I am based at Observatory, Cape Town. I am young and fresh. A very strategic tutor and student. I believe in taking the long route to solve problems because then one can easily master any short cuts. I am a 2017 Eastern Cape MEC award holder, so I kind of know what's expected of a student to know to ace those exams. I am fun to be around and trust me when I say I make studying fun too and we'll probably be friends after tutoring.

I hold a Masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I have been tutoring for 12 years. I tutor Math, Physics, AutoCAD, Revit among many other subjects related to Electrical and Computer Engineering

I mainly teach physics, and I am based in Durban. I strive to assist others in exceeding their academic goals and reaching their full potential. I am patient in my teaching, ensuring clear understanding and effective learning occur.

As a private tutor with three years of experience, I have an excellent understanding of what students need to prepare for their public exams and for their university studies. I have been tutoring for three years, and I enjoy the one-on-one approach that allows me to closely monitor a student's progress, whether it is in-person or online. I am able to tailor my practice to each individual student. Last year, one of my students requested tutoring after receiving an E in IGCSE Maths, but this year they managed to achieve an A. I graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a 2.1 in Chemical Engineering. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I received academic scholarships for three out of the four years. Currently, I am a student at the University of Manchester, studying Nuclear Physics and Technology. I struggled with studying from the beginning. During my junior high school years, I was a probationary student, achieving the lowest grades possible. However, one day, a peer gave me a speech and taught me some skills that completely changed my attitude towards studying. From that point onwards, I have received academic scholarships almost every year. While having study skills is important, I believe having the correct mindset is even more crucial, as many students these days do not truly understand why they are studying. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, reading, and filming YouTube videos.

I am a postgraduate at the University of Kwazulu Natal in Durban. I have my BSc in Pure and Applied Physics, Honours in Theoretical Physics, Masters in Space Physics where I studied using signals in the ionosphere to predict imminent large-scale earthquakes, and I have just handed in my Ph.D. in microseismology. I have relocated to Cape Town now. I have been lecturing since 2016 at all levels, from undergraduate physics students to life science students and engineering classes. I am passionate about sports, including soccer, tennis, cricket, the Olympics, and E-sports.

I currently teach Physical Sciences and Mathematics at a low-income technical high school in the Northern Suburbs of the Western Cape.

Hi, my name is Chenxi and I am currently studying one of the most competitive courses at a top university in the world (University College London). Having studied Economics, Maths, Further Maths and Physics at A-level and achieving top grades, as well as having done 11 GCSEs (8A*s including 9s in Maths and English Literature), I am very keen to help other curious minds achieve academic greatness in Economics, Maths, Further Maths and Physics at all levels.
