I am a postgraduate at the University of Kwazulu Natal in Durban. I have my BSc in Pure and Applied Physics, Honours in Theoretical Physics, Masters in Space Physics where I studied using signals in the ionosphere to predict imminent large-scale earthquakes, and I have just handed in my Ph.D. in microseismology. I have relocated to Cape Town now. I have been lecturing since 2016 at all levels, from undergraduate physics students to life science students and engineering classes. I am passionate about sports, including soccer, tennis, cricket, the Olympics, and E-sports.

I was born in Serres, Greece and my name is Stefanos. From very early age I was inclined in mathematics and enjoyed being faster in computations than my classmates. Soon after my elementary education I was fascinated with the laws of nature and the complexity of the universe and then I knew I wanted to become a theoretical physicist. I finished my bachelor in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with GPA 9.59/10 without a lot of hard work and I am currently on my last year of my Master's in theoretical physics. I was always keen on teaching and mentoring others, starting from my classmates in school, my colleagues in university and young students after my graduation.

What makes me a perfect teacher is that I have the ability to explain and demonstrate concepts in a variety of ways to suit different learners and learning styles. I am also able to assess students in a manner that allows me to identify their academic difficulties even if they are unable to articulate them. Furthermore, I engage students in productive academic discussions to enhance their understanding of the lesson. Since starting my career in tutoring, I have observed significant improvements in my students' grades.

Hi there, I am a physics graduate with first-class honours from Imperial College, currently studying medicine at the University of Hong Kong. I have personally gone through the entire British curriculum, including GCSEs and A-levels, and I am very familiar with the topics. Over the years, I have become very passionate about the subject and have developed my own interpretations and tips in physics that I would like to share with my students.
