I have always been passionate about languages, and I thought it would be both fun and enriching to share my knowledge by tutoring others in my native language. I am fluent in English, Portuguese, and Italian, and I am currently learning Dutch, German, and French. Of all these languages, Portuguese holds a special place—it is one of the most beautiful, culturally rich, and endearing languages in the world. It is the 8th most spoken language globally, and people learn it for various reasons: to travel, connect with local cultures, understand the essence of fado and Portuguese poetry, or simply for the sheer beauty of the language. My top priority as a tutor is to ensure that your learning experience—no matter your level or learning goals—is as efficient, fun, and personalized as possible. I firmly believe that anyone can learn Portuguese, and I will do my best to create a learning strategy that fits your personal needs and goals.

I have been teaching Portuguese in London since 2008, and I have maintained a one hundred percent success rate. I was born in Oporto, Portugal in 1969. To date, I have lived in three countries: Portugal, Germany (for one year), and the United Kingdom. I have been residing in London since 2007. I have studied visual arts at the University of Porto and the Akademie Karlsruhe, as well as anthropology at the University of Minho and UCL. My teaching experience dates back to 1992; however, I started teaching Portuguese specifically in 2008, with a brief experience in 1996-1997.

I have been learning Portuguese since 2013 (P4) and grew up in a Portuguese environment. I studied in the Portuguese system at Escola Portuguesa de Macau and graduated with a grade of 18/20, receiving an Honorable Mention Award for Excellence in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Porto in Portugal from 2022 to 2025 with a grade of B, 15/20. I have accepted an offer to pursue a Master of Architecture at The Hong Kong University.
