Hello! I have been teaching and tutoring students for over 15 years. I tailor my lessons to the learning style and needs of each student to ensure they truly grasp the material. I have honed this individualized approach through years of small group and one-on-one tutoring. I have over twenty years of experience in language acquisition and Spanish-English interpretation/translation. I tutor students in Spanish at all levels, including IB Test Prep, AP Test Prep, and Spanish I-IV. Additionally, I have taught Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies at various levels. Mon expérience de trois ans dans la vie universitaire en tant que professeur vacataire et lectrice à l’Université Lyon 2 a été décisive dans mon parcours professionnel et académique. J’ai pu dispenser des cours pour les premières années de licence d’espagnol et également aux étudiants non-spécialistes (Landsad). Mes enseignements principaux pour l’espagnol abordaient la grammaire, syntaxe, compréhension orale et écrite, expression orale à travers le théâtre et l’analyse des textes littéraires espagnols et latino-américains du XVème au XXème siècle. En même temps, j’ai pu développer d’autres projets liés à l’éducation de la langue telle la mise en place d’un concours de nouvelles en espagnol en coopération avec l’Institut Cervantes de Lyon et un atelier de théâtre en espagnol sur Federico García Lorca, ouvert aux étudiants de différentes disciplines. J’ai été durant deux ans professeur d’Espagnol au sein de l’Ecole de la Neuville, établissement fondateur de la pédagogie institutionnelle depuis quarante ans. En plus de l’enseignement de la langue espagnole aux classes de 4ème et 3ème, j’étais responsable du journal de l’école ainsi que de la bibliothèque (acquisitions, activités scientifiques). J’ai été également responsable de l’organisation du voyage scolaire en Grèce. Mes dernières pratiques éducatives dans divers milieux pédagogiques, notamment collèges et écoles des langues, m’ont donné la possibilité de développer d’autant plus ma curiosité vis-à-vis de l’innovation pédagogique (TICE) et de poursuivre la mise en place de plusieurs projets éducatifs. Pendant trois ans, j’ai travaillé à Londres comme enseignante de français et d’espagnol, et comme coordinatrice pédagogique et professeur de l’école de langues « Spanish Saturday School » où je dirigeais une équipe de six enseignants et bénévoles. Je me suis occupé en même temps de la création du curriculum de l’école.
