Hi all! Bonjour!

My name is Vanessa and I have loved languages ever since I was a little girl. I always knew I was meant to do something with my passion for learning new languages and sure enough, I did!

I am a proud Concordia University graduate in translation (specialization) who speaks and tutors both English and French! I have done translation work for several clients and companies.

I have a very creative mind and love working wich children as I can use my creativity to make lessons fun and entertaining!
I have worked in an elementary school for six years and have loved every single minute of it. I feel that it is now time for me to share my passion and knowledge with more students and maybe make a difference in their lives by giving them the confidence they need to succeed at mastering a new language.

My teaching methods consist in having a brief conversation with the student in order to evaluate their level and adapt my lesson to their learning pace. Since all students are different, there isn't one specific way to teach and transmit knowledge. The key to learning anything new is motivation. Therefore, my goal is to motivate my students to want to learn more and strive! Read less
