When helping students who are struggling in science, I like to try to approach science from a different point of view -- stepping away from looking at the whole problem and breaking it down into managable steps. Each student is different, and my experience has taught me that every student can find a set of steps that work for them for complex science problems.

I also love to incorporate visual aids, diagrams, and online simulations to help students "see" the often invisible aspects of science. Read less
