Hi! My name is Ujaan, and I'm a soon-to-be graduating IB Diploma student living in HK for >15 years, and am going to study Computer Science in university! I am looking to tutor young students (Y1-8) in Computer Science, Maths, or English!

I currently take Higher Level Computer Science, Physics and Psychology, and Standard Level Maths Analysis/Approaches, English Literature, and Spanish B. I am predicted a 42/45.

I have a strong foundation in anything to do with computers, from coding (Scratch, Python, Java, Android), to computer hardware, infrastructure, and so forth. Also, I have a good understanding of Maths, being a Computer Science and Physics student. Furthermore, I am a first-language English speaker, and have read books throughout my whole life, and gained a fond knowledge and understanding of the language.

Something that separates me from other tutors is my extrovertedness and love for teaching others. I was a part of a plethora of school groups and organizations, where we were responsible for teaching and educating students younger than us! I was a Senior Digital Leader, and taught students about computers, passwords, internet safety, etc... I co-founded Spanish Club, and taught students about Hispanic culture and tradition. I co-founded the Y7 Bash, a brand-new whole-year activity for new incoming students, involving fun, engaging quizzes and lots of fun activities, and so much more, all attached in my CV.

I am situated in South Horizons, Ap Lei Chau, and would prefer teaching somewhere easily accessible by MTR.

I believe that great teachers are nimble, observant, responsive, always keep an open mind about how to best engage their students and get them excited about learning!

I prefer taking an active, hands-on approach to learning, trying to get the student to do the thinking for themselves, rather than the teacher just giving the answer. I also include lots of fun games, activities, and so much more. Read less
