I have been a Chinese teacher for 15 years in Hong Kong and have taught one-on-one lessons to more than 400 international students varying in age and levels, both face-to-face and online, at least 15,000 hours of teaching.

I was originally from Beijing and have been living in Hong Kong for over 20 years. I got my Putonghua teaching certificate at Hong Kong Chinese University and has been awarded the first-class grade in the National Putonghua Proficiency Test. ***********************************************************************************
My aim as a IB tutor is to create in my students a deep understanding and confidence in answering exam questions and being able to tackle new and unfamiliar problems. My philosophy is based on the idea that learning happens in an environment of mutual respect in which the student is encouraged to think and make new connections for themselves. ***********************************************************************************

I will design a course according to the needs of the students. Whether it is listening, speaking, or reading, I will make a textbook for you, so you can review it after class, which will make you progress quickly.

In the course of learning, I will use the example sentence instead of the explanation, so that you can clearly know the context in which the sentence can be used.
