Hello, my name is Daisy. I'm a native Cantonese speaker from Hong Kong. Most of my students are beginners, but I also welcome those at higher levels. I live in the New Territories, but we can always discuss where to have our lessons.

Nowadays, Mandarin is becoming increasingly widespread in Hong Kong, and as a result, fewer people may speak Cantonese in the future. That’s why I want to remind everyone how different and unique Cantonese is, and help you preserve and improve our language through communication, reading, and writing activities. I’d also love to share more about Hong Kong culture with you. :)

My approach will depend on the student's needs and learning style. However, my teaching is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples whenever possible. I usually focus on exam-style or past paper questions in order to check, practice, and perfect the student's understanding and technique. Read less
