From a personal perspective, I find teaching to be very enjoyable and rewarding. I also believe that, with my previous and broad business experience, together with my accumulated classroom teaching experience, I provide thoughtfully planned lessons that are effectively delivered. These lessons include modern pedagogical strategies incorporating tangible and relevant real-world examples, helping students access the content and achieve their learning goals. My overall aims are to engage, develop, and provide motivation for all my students and ensure their exam success.

I am a creative, professional, and approachable person with the ability to build good classroom relationships with my students. I approach all teaching roles with the attitude of always trying to improve myself, my students, and the associated classroom activities, and positively interpreting feedback to amend or correct anything I feel may not have been successful. I am a trustworthy and reliable individual who puts a lot of effort into lessons, the learning process, and student development.

I previously worked in the UK finance industry in various roles with an accounting bias. I am a passed finalist (strategic level) of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants' examinations, which is equivalent to a Masters' degree in Finance. I gained a large amount of finance work experience, including communicating with people at various levels within those organization. Courses are designed to bring the students up to a level of understanding of business terminology and prominent functions before progressing to the next level. Throughout each grade level, the teaching and learning environment is structured to enable adequate contextualization of relevant business concepts in order to enhance student knowledge and understanding.
