I am a British Korean who was raised and studied in the UK. I am a qualified medical doctor in the UK and have recently moved to Hong Kong, where I am currently taking a gap year. I graduated from Medical School at Imperial College London in 2020 and also achieved first-class honors in biomedical engineering Bsc. I attained 3A* and an A in my A-levels in the UK.

I have extensive experience in teaching maths and sciences (biology, chemistry, physics) to a wide range of age groups, from 4 to 17 years old, and have taught seminars for group teaching. As part of my medical training, I have also completed teaching skills courses and been part of the medical school interview panels for five years.

Being brought up in a traditional Korean family, I speak fluent Korean and English. Therefore, I am able to teach the aforementioned subjects in both languages and also teach Korean and English at a professional level. From my experiences, I have come to realize that everyone has their own way of learning, and it is the role of teachers to match that and help them along the way. Instead of spoon-feeding individuals, I believe in providing the means and opportunities to learn.
