Hello! This is Aisyah. I'm a Malaysian who was born in Hong Kong. I am currently based in Tseung Kwan O.

I went to local English schools in Hong Kong, and then I moved to an international boarding school called Li Po Chun United World College. That school changed my life as it opened many doors for me.

I studied in America for 6 years. I have completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics at Earlham College. I also have a Master's degree in Policy Analysis from Indiana University - Purdue University.

I worked at the Indiana State Senate Fiscal Office in America for one year as a fiscal policy fellow and I got to witness the inner workings of state government finance and legislation.

Apart from English, I can also speak a little bit of Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay, and Tagalog.

I believe all students are different. I would adjust my teaching style to cater to each student's needs. For example, if a student learns better visually, I would be sure to include lots of pictures as a visual aid for them to retain knowledge better. In order to determine a student's learning style, I would ask the family/student to fill out a survey before beginning the first lesson so that we can fully optimize the time we have together to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
