I am a foundation phase teacher with a honours degree in learner support.
I have taught for 12 years in South Africa ranging from gr 2 and 3.
Last year I taught for a year in Kuwait where we taught the British Cambridge curriculum.
I teach all the foundation phase subjects (grade 1,2 and 3)

Children learn better when they are fully engaged in an activity. They learn when they can use different styles of learning to learn.
I thus maintain that the lessons must be fun but directed. The movement of a lesson should start basic and become more complex once the basics have been mastered.
I always remember to use many different learning styles into my lessons. Read less
