Hello everyone, my name is Lory and I am a researcher in physical chemistry at the University of Utrecht, the Netherlands.
I obtained a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a master's degree in Physical Chemistry at the Sapienza University of Rome where I worked as a teaching assistant for laboratory teaching. During these university years I have given dozens and dozens of private chemistry lessons to both high school and university students who attended different faculties (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, Pharmacy and much more).
My training also developed abroad where I obtained a doctorate in physical chemistry at the University of Groningen, in the Netherlands.
During my PhD, I supervise various students and provide teaching support for the preparation of Chemistry and Physics exams.
10 are my experience in tutoring and teaching that still continue at the University of Utrecht where I carry out my research in renewable technologies and support teaching.

In addition to giving chemistry tutoring for passing questions, state exams or university exams, I also teach chemistry, physics and mathematics for the preparation of access tests to the faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy and the like.

My approach to teaching is based on lessons adapted to the needs of the student dictated by availability and the final level one wishes to reach. In addition to carrying out exercises together, if proposed by the student, I also provide additional material to strengthen the preparation. Chemistry is a complex subject, but nothing gives me more satisfaction than hearing from my students "AH! I finally understand!".
