Whether it's the basics in grade school or the research papers in college, language is necessary to comprehend every facet of life. Small things like understanding the different between "there," "their," and "they're" or the bigger things like why it's important to cite properly in a research are equally important as we age into adulthood. That is why I love teaching English.
