Hello there!

I'm teacher Jade and welcome to my class.
My background includes the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education majoring in English.
- Licensed English teacher with certificates for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL).
- Passed the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) examination in Bangkok, Thailand last October 2023.
- English instructor, Research adviser, and Academic coordinator for 2 years in a private school.
- ESL teacher for 1 year for kids and adults of all levels.
My hobbies include creative writing, listening to music, travelling, outdoor sports, cooking, and sampling new delicacies. What about yours? I would be thrilled to hear them.

As a language teacher, I understand that learning English can be so challenging. So I always make sure to incorporate fun into the learning process, by playing games, watching videos, using colourful presentations, and other engaging activities. I've been through the same process, and I tell, you there's a lot more to learn and experience in English.

Learning English requires dedication, engagement, and a positive attitude. Sometimes the going gets tough but not in my class. I assure you that we'll have fun and learn a lot while exploring the language. Learning is not always black and white, it's a million shades of grey.

My teaching style is primarily centered on class engagement and interaction. I adapt my teaching style in order to accommodate my students' needs and interests. I like to use different exercises, colourful PowerPoint slides, and even videos where possible to demonstrate my learning points. I believe this is something that increases student interest significantly, and from my experience, leads to a better learning experience overall. Read less
