Sometimes the easiest explanations are the simplest ones and a tutors talent lies in simplifying it. That being said I am Athulya Thilakan, a masters student in advanced and computational mathematics at T U Chemnitz. Here I am also one of the teaching assistants to the course Mathematics of big Data and investment Banking. I recently finished my masters degree in mathematics and have more than 4+ years as a tutor. I have helped more than 200 students with their studies throughout my career. But that does not make me better than others. What sets me apart is the fact that, I am conident the time I spend with students will not be a time for me to showcase my knowledge but rather for the pupil to create, increase and apply his. Usually my lessons consists of condensed notes - details that are necessary. I make sure that whatever a student learns they learn it thoroughly. The notes are then elaborated and explained according to the level and need of thes student. Not every student learns the same way. The main aim would be to find the perfect balance of curiosity to learn and willingness to work towards it. Read less
