I began my teaching journey right after high school when I was 16, initially clueless about teaching. However, I found joy in seeing my students remember what I taught. In 2012, I enrolled in an English FOC class and spent a year learning there. In 2013, they offered me a position as an instructor, a role I embraced for two years before transitioning to work for a tourism company. Even while employed in the tourism sector, I continued freelance English teaching at home. Despite changing full-time jobs, I have consistently maintained my freelance English teaching practice to this day.

I worked as a junior English language instructor in an FOC class located in Myanmar for two years. During this time, I provided instruction to both adult and young learners. Specifically, I conducted summer courses for young learners and offered general English classes for adults. Additionally, I completed two intense teacher training courses, one online and the other in person.

In 2016, I took on a role as an English language guide for high school students at a private high school in Myanmar. I spent one year in this position but resigned due to the considerable distance from my home. However, I cherish the pleasant and memorable relationship I had with my students. I maintain communication with some of them through the internet.

Subsequently, a language school founder offered me a position as an English instructor for his small language school after finding out about my proficiency in English. I held this role from 2017 until the onset of the Covid pandemic. In response, I initiated my own online English teaching through Facebook and messenger groups. Despite Myanmar's challenges with slow internet and poor WiFi services, I ventured to Thailand for new opportunities. Since last November, I have been engaged in part-time English teaching at a language school in Chiang Mai. I only teach there on the weekends, so I am eager to transition into a full-time English teaching role. Read less

I usually apply fun and lively classroom activities for the young learners however engaging and supportive ones for the teenagers and adults. My best skill is being tolerant on my students no matter how much they're inactive. Read less
