Q: How do you ensure that learners are prepared for standardized exams or assessments in economics?

I carefully go through the official syllabus with the student, ticking off each requirement one-by-one. This will give the student the necessary confidence to tackle all potential kinds of questions in exams.

Q: How do you incorporate ethical considerations into your lessons when teaching economic theories and concepts?

In line with the IB curriculum, I do incorporate ethical considerations into the teaching to emphasize that certain theories are normative, and in some cases, unviable in the real world

Q: How do you ensure that learners are able to apply the knowledge and skills they have gained in the training to their personal or professional lives?

I often incorperate real-world examples and case stuides into my teaching such that students understand how to apply economic theory into their everday lives.

Q: What are some of the current economic issues that you are particularly passionate about and how do you incorporate them into your lessons?

I am particularly passionate about financial and developmental economics. However, I am most) focused on teaching students the topics that are relevant specifically for IB Economics.

Q: What is your policy on providing guidance on career paths or further education opportunities in economics?

I am happy to provide guidiance to students wishing to pursue further education in Economics. after high school.

Q: What is the expected duration of the training and how many sessions will be required?

This depends on the student's needs and learning style. I offer tutoring sessions of various durations, depending on what works best for the student.

Q: How do you incorporate local or regional economic issues into your lessons?

When incorporating case studies, I often use local examples to make the student better relate to them.

Q: How do you provide opportunities for learners to engage in discussions and ask questions?

Students can (and are highly encouraged to) ask questions at any point during the tutorial sessions.

All topics in the syllabus of IB Economics can be covered - the topics that I cover for each student varies depending on their unique needs.
