I have taught all secondary math subjects from pre-algebra to AP Calculus and AP Statistics. I spent ten years teaching university courses (College Algebra, Statistics) and 14 years in China teaching Australian and AP curricula. I am now living in Chiang Mai and looking to do some online work as I ease slowly towards retirement.

My style is to use a simplistic approach to teaching the subject. Focus directly on the mathematics and avoid getting stuck in the jargon and notation.

I am currently studying technology-assisted teaching based on computer algebra systems and artificial intelligence. These are very advantageous in online teaching situations and using scenario-based mathematical instruction. Read less
