Pak Hei is a rising star in the education field. Majoring in both mathematics and mathematics education at CUHK, he represented the Education Faculty at education conferences in the US and UK. He initiated a mock examination for Hong Kong DSE students on behalf of his program, gaining experience in question setting and marking. His initiative was widely acclaimed in Hong Kong's mathematics education sector, leading to an interview on RTHK's broadcast show "Teaching Enthusiasts".

His academic achievements in secondary school were spectacular. He consistently ranked first among his peers for many years, excelling in subjects such as Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics (M1), and Economics. Due to his outstanding performance in public examinations, he was awarded the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Prize and the Sir Run Run Shaw Scholarship.
