I am an Oxford masters history graduate, specialising in British history, empires and globalisation. My undergraduate dissertation focused on the afterlives of Imperial heroes in former African colonies through a study of their material culture, and was recognised as the highest marked dissertation in its field that year. In 2022 I completed History MSc in Empires, Colonialism and Globalisation at Balliol College, Oxford.

I have been tutoring since 2016, primarily in History and English Language & Literature. In 2018 I taught in Nepal, and in 2019 in China, at Harrow School Beijing. From 2019 to 2022 I worked for an agency based in Beijing that specialises in helping students into the top rated schools and universities in the UK and US. Many of my students have achieved places at schools such as Eastbourne College, Wycombe Abbey, and Cheltenham, as well as Russel Group universities.

Furthermore, having taught English Language and Literature for the last three years I have a particularly strong knowledge of key exam texts, particularly the Shakespearean plays. I have been tutoring for many years in a variety of countries, with students both struggling with their work, and those seeking to excel even further.

Outside of work I enjoy playing tennis, going to the theatre, and cheering on the Welsh rugby team!
