Hello, Korean learners from all over the world! My name is Loe, and I'm 20 years old language enthusiast. I spent most of my childhood and teenage years in Jeju Island, and now I'm living in Anyang.

I'm a fun and easy-going teacher, who genuinely wants to be a friend of yours! As a learner myself, I find becoming fluent in a language is the most effective when you truly enjoy the process of learning. Once you find it enjoyable, you'll naturally want to know more about it, and it will also be a great motivation. And I'm here to help you find the fun of it!

I'm a university student, taking a break from studying English Translation and Korean Studies.

I started tutoring Korean in February, 2024. In the more or less short period of time, I've learned and grown a lot as a Korean tutor, accumulating data of different types of Korean learners.

Some of my students learn Korean as a hobby because they love the culture, some learn it for a trip, and some of them learn it because they actually live in Korea. Regardless of the reason why you decided to start learning Korean, I'm here to support you reach the goal you've set!

My specialty is teaching Hangul, the Korean alphabet! As a bilingual myself, I am very familiar with the grammar structure of English. It helps me understand the difference between the two languages, and the struggles you might encounter while learning Korean as an English speaker. (Especially when it comes to pronunciation and nuance!) Yet, I have experience of teaching both elementary and intermediate learners, so anyone is welcome!

I construct personalized learning plans for each student, and make my own materials based on the textbook. (I figured that I need to break things down and edit a bit for effective lessons.)

I love languages and linguistics! I'll share my passion about languages with you, and you'll learn how to enjoy the process of learning a language. And also, how easy it is to study with Loe! Read less
