My lifelong English journey started with being a research subject and later an intern at CUHK's Bilingualism Research Center. Imbued with a passion for English, I delved deeper into the art both at school (IGCSE and IB) and outside school (various writing competitions and MUN conferences).

Despite my proclamations of loving English to bits, I have to say I'm a freshman at HKU Med. The discrepancy is a little odd, I'll admit and explain. This English tutoring job allows me to further my interest in English and spread this enthusiasm to my students! If that isn't enough to evidence my passion, sorry, I don't know what will.

Let me quell some other potential doubts about my expertise and experience. Throughout high school, I've consistently been on top of my English class, and subsequently helped a lot of my peers. Of course, I do have proper work experience - I am currently tutoring lovely primary children, for both SSAT and mastery of the English language in general. Please rest assured, I am more than qualified and willing to assist you in your English journey.

There are three parts to mastering a language: reading, writing, and speaking. Centered around this general framework, I love to use an interactive approach. I usually find a book suited for the student's level, then conduct tailored exercises, such as reading comprehension, writing, and speaking tasks, based on the content.
