For example, in my past experiences, I found that using examples that relate to the students' interests or things they can relate to helps them not only understand but also remember concepts. I also employ an integrated teaching model in which I tackle difficult concepts with them and provide notes for easier concepts, not only to be time-efficient but to foster self-drivenness.
