Questions for You

Q: What teaching methods do you use to help students learn Math concepts and solve problems?

Interactive Learning: Encouraging students to engage in problem-solving activities to build confidence and understanding. Practice and Repetition: Providing practice problems to reinforce skills. Positive Reinforcement: Creating a supportive environment where students feel motivated to learn, providing students with personal detailed feedback for improvement and growth.

Q: Do you have experience with online teaching platforms or virtual tutoring, and what is your preferred method of communication with students?

Yes, I have had experience with tutoring, teacher some younger children in my school and in underprivallaged areas. My prefered ways of communication would be using different visual aids to help with thier learning and making it easier for them to understand the concepts related to the content they are learning, to thrive to improve and achieve the grade that they desire.

Q: What Math topics or concepts are you particularly skilled in teaching, and how do you keep up to date with changes in the curriculum?

I have finished my Maths Edexcel IGCSE, I am familiar with the specification of the curriculum. With any changes on the curriculum, I will be able to check using specific website such as PMT and save my exams.

Q: How do you communicate with parents about their child's progress and any challenges they may be facing in learning Math?

In order to communicate with parents, I would provide regular updates after lessons with their child's progress, keeping the parents aware of their child's strengths and weakness and points of improvement required. I would also encourage students to share their own perspective on their progress during and after the lesson.

Q: Do you provide any additional resources or materials to supplement your lessons, such as practice exercises or online tutorials?

Yes. I will be using different past papers from previous years to have the students familiarise themselves with the concepts.

Q: What is your approach to homework assignments, and how do you ensure students understand the concepts covered in class?

I will be setting a deadline where they are required to send me their homework that I've gave them via Whatsapp or email.

Q: What steps do you take to ensure that your teaching approach is compatible with the student's learning style?

I would ask the student for their personal opion or preferences on the situation, to see what types of learning styles they prefer to ensure they learn to the best of their abilities.

Q: Do you have experience working with students with learning disabilities or special needs, and how do you adapt your teaching methods to accommodate their needs?

Yes, I have worked in an environment with students with learning disabiltiies such as down syndrome. I would have an extra amount of patience with them, making sure I explain everything as clear as I can, using more visual aids to make it easier to understand.
