Hi! I’m Emma, and I’m excited to welcome you to journey with me through the magical world of English, where every lesson is an adventure.In my classroom, we’ll share stories, experience the beauty of language, and build skills that will open doors for you into other worlds. I am here to share my passion with you, spark your curiosity and inspire a love for reading, writing and maths.

High quality texts inspire thinking, and lead to new perspectives. A good text shapes our world view and gives us insight into how others experience and see the world.

Reading is a gateway into new worldviews and personal growth.
Reading is the inhale, breathing in a plethora of experiences from around the globe and beyond.

Writing is the exhale, breathing out your unique expression into the world for others to connect with and be inspired by.
Writing is the exhale of your own unique expression - no other individual in this entire universe will shape a text and share the vocabulary of their heart in the way that you will.

My aim is to inspire you to discover just how wonderfully inspiring reading and writing can be. How powerful sharing in high quality texts can be can be. I want you to realise how important your voice is, your unique expression is needed in the world. I am here to help you unlock your potential and create.

❤️ I am passionate about Reading, writing and conversation - all in equal measures.
❤️Books, journaling practices and sharing the words from my heart have transformed who I am and how I see the world. This is very real for me.
❤️ I am highly skilled and creating a safe container where children feel they can express themselves, and more importantly BE themselves.
❤️It can take a few lessons to develop the foundations of the container: building trust, and rapport. We will share games, jokes, personal stories, before diving into the lesson content.
❤️It is my main priority that I build a foundation for a trusting relationship with my students, from which they can feel safe to learn. ❤️This is very important for students to make progress in their learning.

⭐️ Confidence is key. Your child will feel confident in themselves so that they can foster a life long interest in learning.

⭐️ Your child will feel safe, happy and valued.

⭐️ Your child will be engaged in learning and can apply what they learn with me in their daily life at school and at home.
