I am from Shanghai, China. Before I came to Canada to pursue my Master's degree in Education, I worked as a language teacher for more than ten years. I have a strong interest in literature, and I studied Chinese as an undergraduate. During my university years, I read a lot of books on Chinese and foreign literature, including ancient Chinese, during which I laid a solid foundation in literature.

After work, I have been working as a language teacher, years of teaching practice has enriched my experience, and at the same time, it also gives me the opportunity to combine theory and practice, and gradually formed my own set of teaching methods and styles.

During my teaching career, I have specialised in a wide range of subjects from regular school curriculum instruction to extended interest courses such as ancient poetry or writing.
