My name is Joel Marais, and I am 19 years old. I am currently taking a gap year from my studies at the University of Pretoria. I have a strong passion for learning and can easily grasp new concepts. I love helping others, especially young people, and have actively participated in community work alongside my father through our church. I obtained 3 distinctions and began studying Chemical Engineering, but for the time being, I have decided to focus on developing my interpersonal skills. I have a passion for languages, with French being my strongest suit, as well as mathematics, chemistry, and physics.

I live in Pretoria East, which is a 15-minute commute from Midrand and 30 minutes from Sandton and Fourways. I have a valid driver's license and reliable transport.
