I am confident that I can provide valuable expertise to enhance your English knowledge, use, and application. My undergraduate degree was a Bachelor's in Journalism and Communication, which allowed me to explore all aspects of written communication as it demanded a high level of writing proficiency, including clarity, conciseness, accuracy, and grammar.

I have a strong background in teaching and tutoring. I worked as a teaching assistant in a private boarding school in Australia, supporting children with a variety of subjects and preparing them for their exams. After completing my Bachelor's, I obtained a Postgraduate PGCE in Primary Education at the University of Sussex in England. I then worked as a full-time class teacher for three years in the UK. In September 2024, I completed my TESOL qualification, and since then, I have been working as an English Programme (EP) teacher at a Thai private school in Bangkok. Alongside my EP work, I also provide private tutoring to the children within my school.

With all of my tutoring, I adopt a student-led approach, which puts students in charge of their learning. I want to know what my students wish to gain and achieve from their lessons, and this creates a starting point for their learning and builds motivation and engagement. I think it is important to set clear goals and empower my students to become independent learners. I encourage questions and discussions and want my students to feel safe and heard. Read less
