Hello, I'm Hannah, originally from Belfast in Northern Ireland. I have been teaching English in schools and learning centers in Hong Kong since 2019. I consider myself a fun yet dedicated tutor for students who need extra guidance in anything from engaing conversation and basic phonics to grammar rules and creative writing. I have worked with students aged 3 - 14 years old, and my biggest joy is to see students grow their independent learning skills.

I hold a BDes in Interior Architecture and diplomas in Fine Art and TEFL (Level 5). English learning should be engaging, so I always aim to make it enjoyable and allow students to be proud of their achievements, large or small! I am based in Kennedy Town and am willing to travel to locations (providing days and times are suitable).

As learning should be challenging yet interesting, I prefer to allow students to showcase their skills and encourage them that they are more capable than they may believe. Practicing repetition and building their skill sets will eventually provide confidence, and that's what helps guide the students through more challenging learning subjects and to push themselves further, whether it's in spelling, reading, or writing!
