Questions for You

Q: What is your experience with students who struggle with Biological Science, and how do you help them improve?

For students there is a lot of information to process and it's not properly explained to them. My solution is to simplify it to flow diagrams, simple paragraphs and mind maps.

Q: What is your success rate with past students who have taken Biological Science exams after working with you?

Students have improved between 20-30 %. Although I do work through the work with each student and identify their challenges within the workload

Q: How do you make Biological Science lessons engaging and interesting for students?

I like to create prompts, mind maps with students, ask questions and small quizzes that are optional for them to take.

Q: How do you teach students to apply Biological Science concepts to real-world situations?

Give scenarios that they would have to take their collective knowledge to answer or simply use the world around them to explain the concepts.

Q: How do you incorporate current research and scientific advancements into your lessons for Biological Science?

Until it's added into the curriculum I would make mention of these advancments and offer additional resources for students to engage in leisure reading.

Q: How do you teach students to write lab reports and scientific papers for Biological Science?

I would give a student a topic. There after I would explain the investigative process that would be conducted. Then how to actually complie the report that hold up universal standards. Further more teach them different types of research strategies and how to construct the reports.

Q: What is your approach to teaching students about the ethical implications of Biological Science research and experimentation?

Explain when there would be ethical dilemmas and how according to that country's regulations- these situations are handled.

Q: Can you discuss your experience with helping students prepare for science fairs or research competitions?
