My favorite style of teaching [English] is to create a fun, relaxed learning environment where I incorporate games or activities to increase confidence in the classroom and keep students motivated to learn! I am fully aware that each student learns at a different pace, so I create my curriculum in a way that everyone is on the same page. Children will forever hold a special place in my heart. I truly feel as though they have a quality about them that enables us, adults, to get in touch with our inner youth and innocence, qualities we tend to grow out of as we get older. They aide us in putting the little things back into perspective when, at times, we take them for granted! I can’t wait to challenge myself by coupling my prior three years worth of experience to new heights. Looking forward to meeting each and every one of you! Read less

I turn teaching opportunities into games or activities where each child has the opportunity to participate in a manner that is encouraging rather than pressuring them to learn and engage. My rapport with my students is very important, that way I can build on their trust so I make sure to solidify a unique bond with each child whether it be an inside joke, secret handshake, personalized conversation, etc. I like for my students to set the tone!
