I started my music career as a demo singer and backing vocalist.

In 2013, I worked as a backing vocalist in pop concerts for artists such as Albert Au and Louis Yuen, among others. That same year, I also began my teaching career in Hong Kong, where I met my first group of students — many of whom have been taking lessons with me for over 10 years.

In 2017, I was awarded a Summer Musical Camp Scholarship by Goldsmiths, University of London, for a short-term musical theatre training program.

In recent years, I have also been an active vocalist, performing regularly at various live houses and jazz bars. Read less

We do both parts in every lesson. Ideally, we spend 2-3 sessions on each song.

For kids, a 30-minute online lesson / 45-minute face-to-face lesson would be long enough for their attention span.

For adults, it's good to start with a 50-minute online lesson.

Also, we occasionally do music appreciation during the session. Other learning materials, such as music videos, are applied based on song choices. Read less
