I have been working as an ESL teacher for four years, both online and in person. I have been working in Seoul for over two years, teaching at a kindergarten. I am based out of Gangnam in Seoul.

My educational background is in the sciences. I graduated with high honors from the University of California in Santa Barbara with a bachelor's in Zoology. I also have two associate's degrees in biology and the natural sciences.

I have over 120 hours of TEFL certification, with additional certification in business English, teaching young learners, and teaching English exam preparation. I have taught ages 4-50 years old and students of a variety of levels ranging from beginner to proficient. I have experience teaching everything from conversational English, reading comprehension, writing, speaking, business and academic English, and test preparation.

I work with all of my students to help them with their specific English learning goals. I strive to create a comfortable learning environment for each student, where they can both improve their English fluency and grow more comfortable with the English language. Read less

I believe the best way to learn English is by incorporating each student's interests into the lessons. This helps create a more comfortable and engaging environment for learning and helps my students improve more from each lesson. Read less
