I usually teach the materials by ensuring that the student understands the problem. I let them solve it on their own first. If there are issues, I will show them what the problem was. If the problem can be related to a real-life example, I would draw on that example. This allows the students to more easily relate to the problem at hand. If the problem can be solved or thought about in multiple ways, I will let them think through the different methods as well. Read less
