Q: What teaching methods do you use to help students learn Math concepts and solve problems?

I give examples of each of the math topics that the student needs help on. I explain every detail step by step to make sure the student understands. Then, I let the student solve some problems to make sure he truly understands the method, concept and technique.

Q: Do you have experience with online teaching platforms or virtual tutoring, and what is your preferred method of communication with students?

Yes, I have worked online as a Math, ESL English, and Chemistry tutor online for more than 10 years now in some platforms. I usually use Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or directly from the platform to connect with the students and I use interactive liveboard for the discussions of the lessons.

Q: What Math topics or concepts are you particularly skilled in teaching, and how do you keep up to date with changes in the curriculum?

I teach math from basic to advanced including engineering maths. I teach Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus and the like. I'm always updated in whatever changes the curriculum have.

Q: How do you communicate with parents about their child's progress and any challenges they may be facing in learning Math?

At the end of every lesson, I always talk to parents and give them feedback on their child's progress and what needs to improve so they would be aware of it.

Q: Do you provide any additional resources or materials to supplement your lessons, such as practice exercises or online tutorials?

Yes, I always provide other materials and examples aside from the students' notes and worksheets.

Q: What is your approach to homework assignments, and how do you ensure students understand the concepts covered in class?

When answering students' homework, I always explain to them the details in how to solve each of the problems and walk them through each of the problems.

Q: What steps do you take to ensure that your teaching approach is compatible with the student's learning style?

I ask the students questions on which method they understand easily and which one they prefer. I explain to them every detail so they would understand well.

Q: Do you have experience working with students with learning disabilities or special needs, and how do you adapt your teaching methods to accommodate their needs?

Yes, I have experienced teaching students with learning disabilitites. I have to be patient with them and teach them slowly so they would fully understand the lesson. I make sure they understand every step and ask questions if they understand the method.
