My name is Kelly Chuashuen Nawachatpongsatorn, and I am a half Thai–half Singaporean currently residing in Thailand. I was raised in Singapore from a young age and completed my primary education there. I have now been living in Thailand for the past ten years.

Within just three months of arriving in Thailand, I was able to read and write in Thai. I achieved this by applying a personal learning method that involves using Chinese Hanyu Pinyin and comparing phonetic similarities between Chinese and Thai. This technique helped me grasp the Thai language efficiently and effectively.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Education at Chulalongkorn University, majoring in Early Childhood Education. As a language learner myself, I understand the challenges of studying a new language, and I strive to make it accessible and enjoyable for others.

I have also tutored Thai to Singaporean university students who selected it as their elective language course. Thanks to a personalized approach tailored to their needs, they performed exceptionally well and passed their courses with flying colors.

I am passionate about language education and look forward to helping more students succeed in learning Thai. Read less

I use a unique sound-based method inspired by Chinese Hanyu Pinyin to help learners, especially Mandarin speakers, to understand Thai tones more easily.
