I am a passionate rising entrepreneur with an open-minded outlook on life. Currently, I reside in Mowbray, Cape Town and tutor grade 11 and 12 Accounting and Economics. I have been tutoring Accounting and Economics for grades 10 - 12 since 2014 after I achieved 100% and 93% for the respective subjects in my matric year in 2013. I pride myself in being able to prioritize the needs of my students and being able to motivate them to achieve excellence. My single objective in the classroom is for the students to have their own personal understanding of the subject and not to simply regurgitate information just to obtain a pass. Read less

Firstly, I try and understand what the student knows about the topic at hand and where they are struggling. I will then know which aspects to spend more time on. I also incorporate class exercises and prior exam questions during the lesson. I encourage students to ask as many questions as possible throughout my explanations. At the end of every topic covered, I conduct an informal test to further monitor progress. Read less
